How to upload C/C++ programs

Hi,
 
I'm looking for information on how to write and upload programs to the SRV1 ARM7 to have it execute them on startup. How do I do that?
 
Also, will the command specification on the website work for writing a C program with?
 
Basically, I want to have my SRV1 execute custom code and access the sensors and etc. (the function library), how do I do it?
