Re: from admin
If Matchport connects, there is most likely there is mismatch between baud rate of Blackfin firmware and serial configuration of Matchport.

That is very old firmware.  It might only support 921kbps instead of 2500kbps.

I find i pdf with "How to configure MatchPort b/g for Restore to Defaults", they have an process in case lost the connection, but it;s verry ambiguous. If you have same ideea "let me know".

Through the serial interface, you can restore defaults by selecting menu option 7 and then save & exit (menu 9).

You might find additional information in the Matchport user guide -

i try that and don't work, i try hardware reset and don't work too. So i bought an new matchport from lantronix, but it's expensive . May be replaced by samething more cheaper such as ZigBee(XBee) Wireless(WiFi)module Smiley,  i saw same module at ~30$ price with 20 pins.

Original SRV-1 radio board had direct support for XBee.  See
    http://www.surveyor.com/blackfin/#blackfin1

Legacy Boards
    * Matchport/XBee Radio Module    EAGLE Files:  bfin-radio-v2.sch    bfin-radio-v2.brd

Note that XBee interfaces at 115kbps and needs hardware flow control, so actual throughput is 80kbps.  I think also, you might have to program the Blackfin UART for 112kbps instead of 115kbps, since there was a clock mismatch that caused problems when we tested this a few years ago.
