Not until I found from one of the post that Mr. Howard Gordon, the founder and CEO of surveyor corporation had passed away.
He had leaved us for about one year (July 2010)
 
I wish to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Howard for making SRV-1.
From this robot I found a lot of funs and interests toword programming and robotic.
 
I hope this web site can continue to develop and contribute to the world ..... and never stop . . .

Agreed.  
 
I found out a couple months after it happened. He was obviously a brillant man who left an inpact on the world. His work has had a great effect on my life and my career, opening up the world of robotics to me. Something that I was interested in but found almost impossible to do, until I stumbled upon the SRV-1.  
 
For that I am grateful for his work, and the help he went out of his way to provide me with.
