this is #9 of 23 guitars produced by minnesota-based luthier tom meyers prior to his
death in 1998. completed in 1985, it's a lovely jumbo rosewood/spruce 12-string
that is reported to be similar to 12-strings built by meyers for the folksingers
odetta and anne hill. the guitar was built in part in meyers' basement shop, though
he used jim olson's shop to complete portions of the guitar for which he didn't have
tools or fixtures. it's a beautifully crafted and wonderful sounding instrument
