  Open the Axis 2100 camera and look on the /view/index.shtml. Text in the lower left corner will indicate the firmware version (ie. 'Axis 2100 Network Camera 2.02') To get an update, goto www.axis.com to their firmware upgrade page:

  Follow the instructions to install the firmware.

  • Download and unzip:

  • double-click "inst-rcm.jar"
  • Input the IP address for the axis
  • Input the Username and Password:
  • From the factory: "root, "pass"
  • The Axis 2100 should restart and be functional upon restart.
  • Click install...quit upon completion.:

  Embed the following calls into you html to control the TransitRCM®. These commands will send controls to the Axis 2100 and move the transit. The amount is between 1-126. The goto command sends the transit to a preset position.
