 What cameras do you recommend?

All cameras and capture devices which use Video for Windows should be compatible. Surveyor does not keep a list of compatible devices and does not recommend any camera hardware.

 What is the difference between Webcam32 and ISpy?

ISpy is a simple, easy-to-use software. It is used frequently for ftp upload, "snapshots", and image editing, but does not include many of Webcam32’s advanced features, such as live streaming video, chat, motion detection, and remote adminstration.

Webcam32 is a very versatile, sophisticated software. It allows ftp upload, or can stream live video through either javacam push or image pull. It is more popular than ISpy due to its extensive feature set.
