 What is ISpy WebCam?
Thank you for choosing ISpy WebCam software, version 2.00. ISpy is software that can upload video images to the Internet. It runs on a Windows machine, and it requires video capture hardware. With it, you can easily add live snapshots to your web site.
What you need to run ISpy
Required to run ISpy:
- A machine running Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0
- A Video For Windows compatible frame grabber and a video source (camera, VCR, etc.), or a Video for Windows compatible parallel-port or USB camera
- An Internet dial-up-connection (modem, phone line, Internet provider), a leased line, or a LAN connection, with TCP/IP protocol stack installed
- A web site with FTP access to upload your pictures
What you can do with ISpy
With ISpy, you can give anyone a peek at interesting sights or events.
Here are some fun sample applications of ISpy:
- momcam - look at me, mom! Send your picture home, not a postcard!
- securitycam - check out that remote location without travelling there
- weathercam - show the weather (at the beach, at the races, etc.)
- sportscam - cover live sports events
