If Image Change is enabled to save or transmit only changed images, knowing how much frames change over time can be useful. Webcam32 can display a dynamically changing graph of the amount of change by selecting Change History from the Preferences menu. The following dialog is displayed:
The graph changes over time, scrolling from right to left as new frames are grabbed. The graph shows frames which have changed by the threshold amount in red, frames which have not changed by the threshold amount in green and the threshold value as a solid white line. Values are expressed as a percentage from 0 (no change) to 100 (complete change).
