Compatibility Notes
This is a list of operating systems, and notes on using Webcam32 with each:
- Windows 95: Runs on all versions, but USB support (required for some cameras) was not put in until ORS2.1, recommended usage is with OSR2.1 or higher.
- Windows 98, and Windows 98SE: No problems.
- Windows 2000: Make sure to have the latest drivers from the vendor, and that they specifically work with Windows 2000, otherwise, there are no issues.
- Windows NT: Requires the latest service pack, at the time of writing, this is Service Pack 6.
- Windows XP: Should work with all versions. Make certain to get the latest video capture drivers.
