Webcam32 - Snappy Support

New in Webcam32 V4.5, Snappy support is now provided.  Snappy is an excellent frame grabber product from Play Inc which grabs images from a video input source such as a Camcorder or a VCR.  When combined with Webcam32, images from this device can be uploaded to the web.

Webcam32 supports both Snappy V2.0 and Snappy V3.0.  If using Snappy V2.0, Webcam32 requires Snappy V2 be installed with the latest patches (Build 147 or later).    Failure to apply these patches will result in immediate failure.

Currently, all Webcam32 functions other than AVI save are fully implemented.

Usage notes:

• When previewing a Webcam32 Snappy image.  The images will be shown in black and white.  When the image is grabbed, you will see the color image very briefly in the preview window.  Currently, the technology for previewing in real time in color is unknown.  The grabbed image will be in full color despite the black and white preview.
